Research priority setting
Are we researching questions that matter to patients, caregivers, and clinicians? Most of the research dollars are invested in researcher-led projects, which may not be addressing the questions that are of most relevance to patients and their caregivers because they are rarely involved in shaping the research agenda. . Research priority-setting partnerships involves bringing patients, caregivers, and health professionals together in a transparent and equitable way to identify and prioritise research questions.
